From noon until three in the afternoon
darkness came over all the land.
Matthew 27:45
When the centurion and those with him
who were guarding Jesus
saw the earthquake and all that had happened,
they were terrified, and exclaimed,
“Surely he was the Son of God!”
Matthew 27:54
We are neighbors at Still Saturday. Love your photo - something about sunrises speak special comfort this time of year. I used a sunrise for my photo, too. Wonder what happened to that centurion - would be an interesting story. Have a blessed, beautiful Easter week!

AMEN!! I actually used this in my Mary Magdalene story; that centurions heart was broken into in ways we/he never could have imagined. Expect to see him in heaven, since his heart was so overwhelmed by our Lord.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! You have captured the spirit of this week perfectly. :)
